We're transparent about this from the start. Our client contracts include a clause giving us permission to use AI-generated imagery and graphics for exploration, placeholder, or final published content (only when requested by or agreed to with the client). It comes at no additional cost to you with no licensing concerns attached.

We design low-carbon websites. This is core to our development practice through compressed assets, leaner code, and faster load times. We use tools to measure the environmental footprint of sites we build, and we aim for results that sit well below average.

We batch and limit our AI usage. Rather than generating dozens of variations or running constant low-value queries, we're intentional about when and why we use AI tools.

The landscape changes fast. We stay informed. We regularly evaluate the tools we use, weighing their energy cost against their value, and we're willing to drop a tool if a more sustainable option exists.

We won't pretend this is perfect. Carbon neutrality within AI is genuinely hard to measure and guarantee. What we can promise is that we're intentional about it and we make real choices because of it.
